Kano- en Supcentrum West-Friesland

Want to get on the water? You can rent a SUP board, Canadian canoe, at the West Friesland canoe and SUP center. Canoeing and SUP Center West Friesland is located at the Lodge 61 holiday park in Medemblik. From here you sail via the Brake to the Kleine Vliet. The sloop route departs from the Lodge61 estate.

From Buitenplaats Medemblik you can reach the first large lake and the ferry to the city of Medemblik in about 10 minutes by boat. You sail from the quay through the Brake towards Medemblik. The draft of the canal for Buitenplaats Medemblik is approximately 1.20 m and is not suitable for a standing mast due to a number of bridges (height 1.30 m) under which you pass. So you can also come to Lodge61 with your own sloop or canoe to spend the night in one of the lodges.
