Do you want medieval crafts? Then come and enjoy Lucetten in Radboud Castle! A lucet is a kind of fork with two tines that you wrap threads around. You can compare it with punching.
In the Middle Ages it was widely used to make jacket closures. Lucetten is included in the museum visit. If you want to be sure of a time slot, book your tickets online in advance. Lucetten has been popular for centuries. It is ready quickly, you can easily take it with you and the cords can be used for everything. Since zippers had not yet been invented and buttons were only for rich people, clothing was mainly buttoned with them in the Middle Ages. Trouser pockets did not exist yet, so people also used the cords to hang something on their belt. Handy, right?
