Fieke Opdam is a comedian and was a nun.
When she is removed from home at the age of 15, she thinks a few years later she has found her future by singing psalms and cleaning floors. The tide turned and she closed the thick monastery doors behind her to start a new life outside the walls. She takes her first steps outside in a very special place ‘the stage’: the only place where she no longer feels alone. Non-Actief , directed by Karin Bloemen, is about the search for a ‘voluntary we’ and is a humorous, musical protest against shame.
